Beachcombers gathering logs that came off log booms.

The job of the guy in the little boat in the foreground is to go on shore,
hammer in a large fastener to a log, tether the log to his boat, and then
pull it off shore and haul it over to the bigger boat. Then he heads back
to shore to get another log.

The job of the guy in the big boat is to stay there and watch. Maybe he
is guarding the logs to make sure that none of them escape.

So my conclusion is that if I ever become a beachcomber I will work on the
big boat. That job is much more suited to my aptitudes and predilections.

How interesting! I'm glad there are some enterprising people in this area. Such a shame to waste all that wood.

Really like the vast expanse of sky and sea. "V"
I think you already have the best job, which is taking photos of the operation.

So many unusual and interesting jobs that we never even think of. Big boat sounds like a winner to me too. Nice capture.

I guss somebody has to supervise, and some body has to clean up the beach.
