The Astoria-Megler Bridge

Astoria, OR

The bridge that crosses the Columbia River to Washington. Per David's post "The Astoria-Megler Bridge, opened in 1966, is 4 miles (6.5 km) in length...this section is 200 ft (61 m) above shipping channels on the Columbia River...it is the longest continuous-truss bridge in the world."

I remember, in 2008, driving over the Columbia river on the Lewis and Clark bridge near Longview WA (HW 433), also an impressive structure.
