Cracks and Holes

Valley of Fire State Park, NV

There were a myriad of cracks and holes in the rock, places where the rock is peeling off other rock, such as on the right here, and many other interesting variations in the rock formations.

Wonderful comp, Dan. I remember those monoliths from last June when Glenn and I were in that area searching (unsuccessfully) for Pretzel Arch. I sought the shade offered then as a respite from the blazing Sun and attendant heat.
