Why Olympus Should Hire Me

Valley of Fire State Park, NV

A more fitting title would probably be "Why Olympus Should Hire Me to Promote Their Tough Series Cameras". David and Glenn are shown in this snapshot using their TG-3 and TG-4, respectively, out in wet weather. It was taken by me with my TG-3. They are 2 of the approximately 20 or so people I have influenced into buying this amazing little camera that has so many interesting uses that supplement the abilities of my DSLR. I have been a huge fan of it since purchasing my first, a TG-1, back in 2012 before going to Iceland. I bought it mainly for underwater and bad weather use, but was soon very impressed by its other capabilities. Chief among these is its ability to to do hand held, in camera focus stacking macros. But I also enjoy a lot of its art modes and its decent regular photo capabilities when I just want to have a camera better than my phone along with me. Starting with the TG-4, they have the ability to shoot in RAW.

They look like they were having too much fun out there.

fun shot...the TG-3 is a great addition to the camera lineup..it is certainly useful on wet days like this one, of which there are many in Vancouver..no surprise the two Canadians chose the red colour option..
