This trip, unlike the rest of my previous trips to the southwest US, did not have any predefined landmark destinations. I had numerous goals - mostly car related for this trip and also the goal of getting together with PBase friends David Ingram (pbase.com/globalgadabout) and Marcia Rules (pbase.com/porcel). This was the first time I had the pleasure to meet and shoot with Marcia, who I have been friends with on Pbase for over 10 years, in person. I was only able to meet up with David and Marcia for 2 days, so you will notice many differences in what was covered in our respective galleries. This was the first outing for 2 new lenses (300mm f4 and 60mm f2.8 macro) so I had as a goal to use them where possible. This trip yielded a large number of old car and rustscape images which will appear in those galleries and some will be displayed here as well. I did shoot a large number of bird images, most of which are either repetitive or not that good. The good ones will appear in my Birds gallery. There will also be a few images shot on the road in New Mexico.
