I've always felt that this was a horrible thing to do. After all, I wouldn't want someone touching me if I were trapped in a pool of water. And yet....it was so tempting. So, I did finally give in, rolled up my sleeves, and touched the sharks, and the starfish, and the stingrays. This is my brother in the proper one fingered petting between the back two fins of a shark. I should have gotten a picture of the crabs in the touch room though. They had a big sign over them that say, "Do not touch the crabs." No, really?
