After visiting Muir Woods, we crossed back into the city via the Golden Gate Bridge. While I was somewhat dismayed that my first views of the bridge had it covered in fog, it was fascinating to be able to see the road so clearly right up to the bridge, lose the top of the bridge towers in the fog, only to see the the clear blue sky above it because of how low the fog was.
