Washington DC: Day 2

I woke up early, caught the hotel shuttle to the Herndon-Monroe Park and Ride where I caught the Metrobus 5A to L'Enfant Plaza which was just a couple blocks away from the National Mall. From there I walked miles and miles all over the vicinity meeting up with my cousin for lunch and a high school friend for dinner. For solo sightseeing, it was a pretty great day.
