CRW_4303_AdaptShield.jpg

Houston, TX (Backyard)

A 2-1/2" diameter by 5/8" thick foam/felt spacer has been added to back of adapter with a 1-1/4" concentric hole bored to accomodate largest lens section. The purpose of the spacer was to block stray light entering eyepiece and causing light artifacts on image. It has an added benefit from the lens lightly touching the felt which adds a little stability.

Canon EOS D60 ,Tamron SP AF 90mm f/2.8
The felt spacer is actually a furniture glide like would stick to a table leg to keep from scratching the floor tile. full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto
