2007_0210Digiscoping_-60X.jpg

Houston, TX (Backyard)

Admittedly these images are not the best quality, as they were rushed not knowing how long the hawk would stay put, but they do show how eyepiece zoom effects the image's subject size. Rarely do I ever shoot anything with eyepiece zoom greater than 40X and 99% of all my shots are at 20X 0r 30X. I will add a shot of the tree (sans hawk) from the same distance (100 yards) with a Canon 600mm IS lens.
