Cassiterite - Tin Ore (Placer deposit) from Indonesia. This sample was given to me by a chemist in the laboratory of the US Gov't. smelter near Texas City, TX (No longer exists) when I visited the smelter in July 1953. He also provided a sample from Bolivia and a piece of tin rod that crinkled when bent.
