i bought a Sommerkamp FT221: it works fine but I'm not able to use repeaters. I think the 1750 Hz tone system in the rig works but it doesn't open the repeaters.
If I switch RPT on in 145 or 146 MHz band the S-meter lamp blink, the rig seems to be mute and no RF power output(PLL problems in locking)but in 145,5 band, also with RPT on, it works
My rig has some mods: NB on the clarifier pot (if you pull it), variable RF power (with
