At low tide the sand and mut flats stretch for Km's around the island. Guides are available to take visitors onto the mud flats at low tide. Certainly with the speed at which the tide comes in across the flats and the changeable weather a guide seems the best idea! The view of these people across the sand looked like a desert oasis from afar!
