Well my return from holidays last week was made a lot easier.

Just before I left, I had entered a couple of photos into a national competition, which was being
judged by Colin Prior amongst others. Basically I hadn’t expected to hear anything for another
couple of weeks.

But, I found an email waiting for me with congratulations, to tell me that my photo had been
selected by the judges to go on exhibit for the next year around the country. In addition to this
it looks like selected photos from the exhibit will be selected for publishing in the next couple
of weeks in one of the Scottish National papers, as well as a couple of members publications e.g.
Historic Scotland, the National Trust for Scotland and Scottish Natural Heritage.

Whilst the exhibition details and venues are sill in the process of being confirmed, I know the
exhibit will be featured at The Scottish Parliament, The National Trust HQ, St Andrews University.
