Leeds -> Birmingham

A short day in Leeds was followed by a train journey mid-day down the country to Birmingham. We
checked into the hotel which was fairly central, and after finishing off the day at work, went to
have a look through the adjoining shopping centre. This time it looked like I was the lucky one,
as the room I was given in Malmaison was huge.

It was with great strength of mind we went past all the shops and out the other side of the
centre. At the back of the centre were terraces leading down to the canal, lined with restaurants.
We sat, had a couple of drinks and watched the sun going down over the canal before heading back to
our rooms.
