I had a social get together for diving last night down at Aberdeen Boat Club, which if we're being
precise, should be called Aberdeen Rowing Club, but there we go. It wasn't a bad idea going either,
as I was able to get my all important log book filled in with the weekend's dives, and more
importantly bring my training records up to date.
From there it was but a hop skip and a jump to the mouth of the harbour. There was a slight haze
last night, and my intention had been to take photo’s of the heavy plant under the sodium glow. No
sooner had I decided this, than a huge oil supply ship turned up, moving quickly into the harbour.
A couple of photo’s later and it was an easy choice for the day. Besides the poor zoom on the Oly
wasn’t so good as to give me a strong enough photo!
The ferry is the motion blur you see in the "foreground".
The building you see at the rear with the glass gallery is the Silver Darling, one of Aberdeen’s
better restaurants. It serves mainly seafood, and is pretty highly decorated!
