Well spent most of the day deciding how we were going to make an offer on a house we had found.
After hours of agonising over things, we came to a decision, just in time for me to head out for
my diving training.

The problem being with the Scottish housing market that if there are two or more people interested
in a house, they go to a closing date. You submit sealed offers for the house, with (usually) the
biggest offer winning. This is the situation we're now in.

Anyway, there should be more news tomorrow for you - one way or the other.
