Today started really well, and managed to maintain it's momentum!
Didn't get up early enough to make the sunrise over the harbour, but it was still fairly early when
I dropped Catherine off at her work. Headed from there to the Torry Battery which was a gunnery
position that overlooks the entrance to the harbour. From there you can watch boats going in and
out of the harbour. Or watch dolphins playing feeding and jumping as I did whilst I was having my
breakfast! Once I finished my coffee, I went for a walk along the coastal path (where I got the
PAD above of Girdleness Lighthouse) before heading back to the car.
Nipped up to visit my Granny, then went for another walk round Johnstone Gardens. The Gardens are
basically a wee park hidden away in a residential area. It's a beautiful place with seating areas
that look like greek temples, waterfalls not to mention ducks. All in all a great place, I used to
visit it when I was little and up in Aberdeen visiting my Granny, and its where we had our photo's
taken after our wedding ceremony. So obviously it's a bit special for us.
All that was left to be done that day was to go to to meet Catherine for some lunch.
It's a hard life!
