Crested Butte

Snaps of our 4 day/800 mile drive from Denver, Colorado to Crested Butte, Colorado to enjoy the fall. We left Denver with the temperature at 90F, had snow at Crested Butte, and returned to Denver with the temperature at 32F!! Crested Butte is a beautiful small town. The 200 mile(ish) drive on Kebler Pass and the West Elk Loop taking in Blue Mesa Dam is spectacular. We were even lucky enough to see a Black Bear!!
Butte: A hill or very small mountain that is flat topped with steep sides all around.

I love Crested Butte, you captured it in all it's beauty. My grandparents and mother were born there and I have been there every year for 25 years. I haven't been able to make it out there in the past 2-3 years and these pictures really hit home. Thank you for taking them and sharing the magnificence of Crested Butte.
