Stated morning in Bonifaccio. Checked out of hotel and then hiked to lighthouse. About 5-6 miles along the ocean. Started out cloudy but then ended up to be a beautiful morning.

Came back to the fort at Bonifaccio and had lunch under the awing of a church. Had simple lunch of coke and some ham/cheese sandwhich. Drove backup north toward Bastia, but turned off at Aleria and crossed over toward Corte and 197 to Calvi. Corte was so-so and we skipped and drove onto Ile Rousse, drove past where we would stay and continuned into town and went to Super-U and got groceries.

Came back and met Karl Kuhn, got settled in and watched sun set.

Eat dinner of cheese, sausage and bread and wine. Suagues was *real* Corsican sausage.
