Combined gold fish, an image of an empty fish bowl and picture of one of my cats, Pogo
combined using layer masks and a variety of blend modes and filtered with Topaz Clean.

Another thought, for anyone who wants to blend gray on gray. The color palette setting for this background is R70, G70, and B70, or #464646. But the real trick is to use a strong blur tool all around the border, which eliminates the line. If the gray density is still 'off', taking a sample by copy and eyedropper will give your editor a corrected sample. FYI, of course! :-) Pogo
