I would try a different perspective from a frontal view and stress the beans more:
Fill up the bowl level to the top. Place the spoon on top of the beans and fill the spoon with an overflowing hill of beans. shoot from the side with the rim of the bowl about 2/3 down from the top of the picture. ( the c/l of your lens t the height pf the beens on the spoon.) Good shooting.

I agree with 1st comment, #1 is the most inrpiring to me with both nice tones (the pepper) and the idea of eating (the rods? sticks?). I very much like the horizontal rod, although i would not cross the lines between the pepper and the rods. Would put the pepper lower in bowl. Thanks for sharing ! :)

The first one works for me. Shallow depth of field with the blackbeans in focus emphasises the name of the restaurant.
