My new boss has spent most of her day under my bed. As I write this,
she is taking only her second exploratory of the second floor. I've
moved her food and litter box up here for now until we get better
acquainted, since I'm mostly upstairs in my office pounding on the keyboard.

She's trying to decide whether or not she can trust me. I'm the big, mean
stranger who yanked her from her home and plopped her down here. I don't
blame her for being somewhat timid just now.
