A Stout Little House

I'd love to live in a stout little house like this. I'm not sure
how we got to the point where everything (cars, houses, waistlines)
in America has to be bigger and bigger.

This house has everything I'd need and want: enough room but not
so much room I'd keep bringing more and more things home that I don't
really need, a small yard to tend but not so big that it feels like
a chore, and, it so happens, a great central location close to all
the things that are important to me. Most important, it has character.

Posting a bit early because I'm off for nearly a week of business
travel, IF I can get on the airplane with my interim paper driver's
license (and an old expired one with my picture).

They'll let you on the plane. I love that little bungalow! I'd take it any day of the week. Not too big and has soooo much character. Enjoy your trip!

Beautifully photographed and presented.

Our feeding of ego has stripped much architecture of the element of intimacy.

I like this, looks like it could even withstand the Buffalo winters.

I agree. Well done and nicely lit. Have a great trip.

This house does look like it has a lot of character. It certainly has great 'curb appeal'.
I can very easily envision that being your home.

It brings back childhood memories of when my entire family would gather at Grandma's house for dinner, then afterwards congregate on the front porch. Of course the women would be in washing the dishes, hehehe...
