Halftime

I was watching the Chargers beat the Browns this afternoon, and
got a little bored, so I brought out the camera and took some
pictures of the fruit I bought earlier at the Farmers Market.

I may have gone overboard with the framing; I can't decide. I'm not
sure I needed tha background "mat." The decision to go off-center, however,
is inspired by the excellent examples of Ed Goodnight,
who does it much better than me.

Great still life, Gary! I haven't been able to see your image from yesterday...just red Xs :(

I very much like the frame. I don't think it is overdone at all.

I think judy jetson would be proud of this framing job.
I have absolutely no idea what Ed G just said but it certainly sounds interesting.

Simply outstanding. I'll have to try shooting bored sometime--hopefully my results will be at least half as good. :) GMV

What a busy guy. Photo manipulation and a game. I'm ready for bed just thinking about it... :-D

I like this!
You're a peach of a guy Gary!
Thanks for the plug.
I may have mentioned this to you before that the framing was a result of my poor color perception.
I duplicate my image and do a gaussian blur which gives me the right color.
I then reduce the second image by and inch or so and drag it over the blurred layer
then a little inner glow using a color from the second layer and voila! Somewhat close to the proper color. A desperation technique!

Nice work. Been watching the games today, waiting for the Colts to win another one.

We haven't been neighbors for years it seems, so hello neighbor :)
Waiting to see what my Pats are gonna do to the Colts, it'll be a good one. Maybe. Might have to read the final score in the AM tho :(
I'll take a pear, not sure about the metallic, but I like the pinkish gradiant.
