Life on the other side of the tracks

Actually, this house overlooks the Pacific Ocean,
behind me as I took this picture. These are the rails
for Amtrack, the Coaster, and the freight trains.

This tiny home is in Solana Beach, CA. Don't even
think of asking it's estimated value.
It will only depress you. Trust me on this one! :-)

They probably got all that money by sticking up the SD Express there ;-) I'm sure they are quite pleased that nobody will be building right in front of them :-)

I don't doubt the price. With an ocean view it has to be quite expensive. A friend who lives out there rents a very small apartment pays over $1000 a month. You can hardly turn around in it. Either way, it's a nice house, just wouldn't want to be that close to the tracks!

I like this ... a great juxtaposition between the homes and railways.
Guest 09-Aug-2006 13:28
really?! i would have thought the market value can't be that high because it is close to the rail lines!?!?

In the 7 figure range easy...

Still, they have the coastal railway between them and the pacific. Overrated! You can bargain a lot, my friend ;-)

The presence of railroad tracks is responsible for the high price of real estate. :-)

We're not in Kansas anymore...
...trust me.

Leave a copy of this picture in their mailbow.
Then hang around to get a candid shot as they retrieve it.
