This is an obelisk which sits atop a fountain in front of a hotel
in downtown San Diego, next door to Horton Plaza. Used to be the
Omni Hotel (sight of a national OD Network convention too many years
ago) but it's called something else now.

Anyway -- the obelisk is probably two or three stories tall, to give
you some perspective. I decided to find the unusual POV. I think I
succeeded. It is narrower at the top than at the bottom, and what you
can't really see is the pyramid shape at the very top.
