I Hate Packing

Alternative to packing: buy 'new' when you get there ... then when you forget it at the hotel, you till have 'old' when you get home! ;)

Pack it, then half it.
Have a good trip!

good luck on your travels! Here's my tip for packing- I always have a beer whilst packing... works every time! Oh and always bring an extra bag because even if you don't add anything you'll never fit everything back into your original suitcase!

LOL at Ira--hope you're not his travelling partner.
Stay safe and bring back bags and bags of film.

I hate it too - too damn many decisions to make.
Bon Voyage and bring back some good shots!

Here are my rules to packing and travel:
1. Wait until you have 10 minutes left before you start to pack.
2. Discover that the zipper on the suitcase is broken.
3. Make sure to forget only the important items.
4. Get stuck in traffic on way to airport.
5. Forget plane tickets.
6. Get caught by security with the small pocket knife that you forgot was in your carry-on.
7. Miss flight.
8. Pay additional $100 for next flight.
9. Get seat next to most overweight person on plane.
10. Get to car rental place and discover that the mid-size you reserved is not available. Drive away in Ford Fiesta.

I agree with the hating packing. That is the worse part of the trip. I have not figured out if it is better to bite the bullet and do it early, or do it under pressure at the last minute. I tend toward the latter. BUT, I have decided that you can pick up almost anything you have left behind once you get there and realize you forgot something. Of course, the cameras are the most important thing to pack and I have that down.--Rene

Oh come on I don't believe you. When I was doing management consultancy I got really good at it.... it's the washing and ironing when I got back that I hated. Have fun!

I hate ironing the gear only to get there & have to do it all over again....!! So okay...that's the case for the toiletries, now where's the suitcase for the clothes & the one for the shoes ;>)
Have a safe trip !!
