There are a number of reservoirs in the San Diego area, and around
most, if not all of them is a paved road that's closed to normal
traffic and used by joggers, roller bladers and cyclists. Most of
them are not complete loops because the actual dam is closed to the
public (thanks to 9/11). This lake becomes a 8.5 mile ride from the
parking lot to the farthest point you can go, and back.
