I've written three as yet unpublished children's books featuring
an incorrigible frog named Bumpy Rufus. Hence, I collect frogs.
I found this one at a nearby shop for only $2, and he became the
first thing I bought for my new apartment. He usually fishes from
atop a bookcase in the living room. Here, he's perched (pun intended)
on a desk in my "hallway to nowhere."
