Recreational Vehicles

At our stadium this weekend, scores -- perhaps a couple of hundred
recreational vehicles were on display for sale, at prices starting
at $50,000 (I saw one at that price) to over $330,000. I found myself
wondering how could there be so many people to buy these vehicles,
and why? Is it really "getting away from it all" to drive a vehicle
with THREE televisions (no kidding) a washer, dryer, microwave,
three burner stove, oven, even ceiling fans in the "bedroom"?

Fun to look at for a while. I can't imagine ever buying one. But
that's me.

Well composed, showing the sheer volume of these behemouths.

I'm just thinking of the gas mileage... * shudder * I much prefer my little Civic for urban assault or deer dodging. When visiting someplace, it's always nice to not have to worry about where to park the car. Just rent a locker at the beach and stow it.

Nicely composed. The sweeping curve of the vehicles underscores your commentary.

But if you had one of these you could go on one hell of a PaD roadtrip!!

Yikes! Who could afford something like that??? And have a house, or is this the house on wheels? What ever happened to a Holiday Inn, a pool, and someone else to cook?

Love the angle, and how I would love to go through these, I honestly would love to own one and be able to see all of America and still have my home at my feet. A girl can dream can't she?

When my twins where about 5, we rented one and went all the way to Lake Tahoe. It was one of our best trips!
Why buy when you can rent?

I believe it's a whole world RVin'
Had an old truck and camper once - a lot of fun - but I can't imagine driving one of these huge ones.

Great angle!!! It`s weird, all that luxury in a vehicle, but must be fun driving one of this around the country!!

These guys only plan to drive to the football games and tail gate there. I don't get it either, but...
