I was inspired by the images of Wendy O on pbase to achieve the antique look she created on so many of her images. First started by applying Feivel's Gothic Glow action to an image and then a texture, but I wasn't satisfied with the texture and searched the web for a tutorial on how to achieve an antique look. Found a superb tut on Planet Photoshop: http://www.planetphotoshop.com/antique-photo-effect.html, and was happy to learn about using photos of textures over my image to create a texture, but decided that I liked the original change that the Gothic Glow action made, before I added the texture.
