The late afternoon light was so lovely and Beegie looked so pretty next to that plant that I grabbed a shot. The depth of field was too shallow to get the plant in focus so I decided to try an artsy fix. Lucis Art followed by a BuZZ Simplifier filtration and sandstone texture. (By the way, I have Highlight Tone Priority as one of my custom settings on my 40D - it's very useful for strongly backlit situations like this.)
