My husband's boss flying his newly restored 1942 Air Coupe. He bought it as a pile of pieces and had it restored and painted.

The orig. image had ground scenery below so I extracted the plane, added clouds and created the sketch. I am printing it on watercolor paper and framing it for him as a suprise, along with matching note cards.
