Fruit Cake (Borden's None Such Recipe From The 60's)

1 (9 oz) Pkg (box condensed) None Such Mincemeat
1/2 C Water
6 Oz Candied fruit
1 Can Borden's Sweetened Condensed Milk
3/4 C Flour
1 C Walnuts
1 Egg, beaten
1/2 tsp Baking soda
Brandy (optional)

Break mincemeat into pieces & put into a 1 qt. pan.
Add water, cook until all lumps are broken.
Remove from heat and cool
Add rest of ingrediants & stir well
Pour into greased 9" x 4" x 3" loaf pan
Bake 350 deg. 1 hr. and 30 min.
After cake has cooled you may sprinkle brandy on it if desired
