It was busy spinning a beautiful web and then the cat (Spook) came up to see what I was doing and ruined the web, thus spoiling any more photo ops!

All that work and Spook ruins it, poor spider. Ha! By the stripes on the back legs I'd say it was some sort of orb weaver. Gary

Neat image, make even more creepy by the curvy leaves. Wonder what the visual impact would be to crop it to just the spider and the group of leaves it's on?
