Scrapbook Page with Elements

I was highly motivated to work from the PSP Scrapbooking page, but I am not very familiar with the tools in PSP and became very frustrated.

I decided to try to produce a page with Elements instead.

Most frustrating with Elements is the fact that each word must be put on a separate layer if the lines are to be properly pasted. It is a minor inconvenience, really, to use the move tool to drag them into position. They can also be rotated easily.

The background was created from one of the pattern fills supplied with the program.

Paint Shop Pro really has it all over Photoshop with the availabity of textures in the program...I want to work on improving the variety of my background textures and will delve more into PSP!

Very nice.
Isabel take a look at the the Scrapbooking the Digital Way by Michelle Shefveland it is reduced in price on the Jasc site. Have found it to be very helpful. Is written for PSP8 but can easily be used in PSP9 also.

Nice work up. And nice to know it can be done with Elements. Gotta love those cats!
