As spring becomes a reality the bright yellow feathers are returning to my goldfinches. This one is sitting on a unique cast iron container I found in a gift shop. It has three little iron birds on it which I think attract the real kind. I put some seed in it to hopefully attract some mourning doves, which are ground feeders, but on rare occasions visit my deck, which is about 30 feet above the ground!
