Tapioca pearls. These are very large and after two tries to boil them to softness I have miserably failed. I wanted to try making "bubble tea". I have given up on the project because the charm of the bubble tea I've had in a Vietnamese restaurant was the color of the "pearls" not the flavor or texture!
