I've always loved these, but resisted them in candy shops because they're usually very expensive. Today I decided to search the web for a recipe and found out how easy they are to make using a microwave.
Ingredients:
16 oz. chocolate chips
12 oz. raisins
Put the chips in a microwave proof bowl and nuke on high for one minute. Stir and return to oven for another minute, stirring again, returning it for 30 second zap until it stirs to smooth texture.
Thoroughly stir in raisins.
Use a small cookie scoop to measure out on a waxed paper covered cookie sheet. Cool in fridge to harden. Makes about 24 pieces which are about 100 calories each.
