This was just a tiny print which I enlarged with Alienskin BlowUp. What's important about it is the fact that my sister and I (the younger) are wearing dresses our mother made for us on her White sewing machine. About that time I mostly remember having to stand on the kitchen table and turn a circle while my mother pumped the bulb on the chalk marker to indicate the fold line for a hem. I didn't fully appreciate how much work went into producing dresses like these. (Remember when they told us the sun has to be behind the photographer? No wonder everyone was usually squinting.)
