The still falling leaves provide great entertainment for the cats. The view through the dirty glass has added contrast from unsharp masking with radius higher than amount - a technique I find very helpful for increasing contrast in "thin" looking images. I also find when shooting by window light in my house that I have to desaturate cyan quite significantly because of the color of the glass, which is tinted to cut down on sun glare.
