Didn't have anything artistic in mind for this subject, but wanted to make a statement about stepping out of one's comfort zone. When I heard I could take advantage of Canon's Customer Loyalty Program and exchange my 20D, which needed cleaning, for a refurbished 50D, I was a little reluctant to give up the 20D, and also concerned about the poorer high ISO noise in the 50D (higher than that of the 40D).
It didn't take me long to fall in love with the 50D - nice high resolution lcd, new simpler menu system, lovely color.
The 20D got packed up quickly and will be returned, shipping paid for by Canon, in the brown box. Canon gives you 14 days to return your old camera...by the way, I could have had the same opportunity to get a refurbished 50D if I had returned an XT or other dslr model for servicing.)
