Lumbering grizzly @ 4:30 am

This image (entire sequence of images actually) would normally have been on the cutting room floor, but I was inspired by Nick Nichols' work with African elephants (National Geographic) where he's made art out of blurry, low light animal activity. You be the judge if this one works. This image was captured in near darkness driving toward the Lamar Valley. This grizzly passed in front of us, then went lumbering up the valley to our left. Still breathtaking, even if the shot's not that great.

This happens often. A photographer's natural reaction is to click first, ask questions later. I captured a "Renoir" black bear and chuckled as I first reviewed the image, but now I sorta like it ... http://www.pbase.com/kevinmc2/image/12896956 Your blurred photo is intriguing . . . after all, it is a Grizzy! You should post more of this sequence.
