Gannets fishing.
Diving from up to 30 meters the gannet can achieve a maximum speed of 100 km/h when
entering the water and dives at a depth of 6-7 meters in the middle of a fish school.
The bird scoops the fish while swimming back up. The gannet partially folds its wings
just before the contact with the water surface (not unlike the Concord when going
supersonic) which allows it to hit the water like a projectile. Once the fish
school has been identified, within a few seconds several gannets will hit
the water in almost the same spot at high velocity.
Breathtaking.

It must be, and thanks for sharing - I have never seen more than 2 or 3 at at a time in Cornwall
