02 Louisiana-No NPS sites, Cajum Food, Beaux Bridge Crawfish Festival
We did not visit any units in the NPS in Louisiana. Louisiana has always been one of our favorite states for food. I think it is because we like seafood and especially the way it is prepared Cajun and Creole styles. A list of most our liked dishes are; Crawfish (mudbugs), Gumbo, Etouffee, Crabs and of course, Jambalaya.
The reason for including Louisiana as a gallery is because of the food, a Crawfish Festival in Beaux Bridge and one of our long time favorite Cajun restaurants in Beaux Bridge, Mulates. Beaux Bridge is about 120 miles west of New Orleans along I-10.
The photos of the food and the expression on our faces, explain why we stop in this part of Louisiana every chance we get.
Now on to Mississippi, the Gulf Islands NS and more mudbugs.
