The Guadalupe Mountains NP is along US Route 62/180 in west Texas, along the southeastern border of New Mexico and about 100 miles east of El Paso, TX.

Guadalupe Mountains NP is large range of mountains rising 4000 feet above the west Texas desert. Nearly 47,000 acres of the NP is designated as wilderness.

There are no facilities (gas) within 40 miles of the park visitor's center.
