Eric and I have not seen each other for a few years due to the distance between the U.S. and Australia, life and then his illness. So, at last we made our way down under. We took the train from the airport to a station near his home. It is an understatement to say that it was an emotional meeting. Although Eric watches his diet carefully and takes various meds and naps, he is holding his own. He took us to several nearby parks, the kid's soccer games and shopping. We had a good time reminiscing about NJ and Millville, and just being together. The children, Kate and Connor, are no longer kids, but young adults. His wife, Helen, keeps busy with work, family and an active participation with Eric’s meds and appointments.
