On our way to meet with relatives in Chester County, PA, we stopped in downtown Phildelphia to do a walking tour of the of the city and its rich history.

National Park System sites that we visited were: Schuylkill river Nat Historic Area; Gloria del Church National Historic Site; Independence National Historic Park; Germantown White House; Benjamin Franklin National Memorial; Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site; Thaddeus Kosciuszko National Memorial and the Betsey Ross House. We also visited other areas, not of a historic nature, but of a cultural nature.
