This was a day trip from the Roper Lake CG. They have a campground but the sites are small and there are 2 deep dips(stream crossings)where we were concerned about the camper tongue getting hung because the of the steepness of the dips.

The NM is quite enjoyable because of the unique rock formations. The scenic drive goes to the top of the mountain where the vista is great to the east and to the west.
